13th May 2009 - Samba Workshops began. Radford Avenue Children's Centre was the venue that hosted the Sound of Rio- first session is free and then £3 thereafter. Come along and see for yourself, it's open to the entire community. 19th April 2009 - Healthy Communities Event in St George's Park. Over 2000 people came together to enjoy a day in the sun and enjoy lots of exciting things on offer. Pictures can be found here in this site. 22nd December 2008 - 2nd January 2009 Sarah Turner worked with Partners to arrange a selection of fun activities throughout the Christmas Holidays for young people in the area. 6th November 2008 Justin Daniels met with the Mayor, Councillors, WFDC Regenerartion team and Young People from King Charles 1 School to discuss the future Regeneration Plans for the area and explained the Partnership's role in the plans and how it willl support them indefinitely. 27th October - 31st October 2008 Justin Daniels and Justin Bryant supported the Fire Service throughout Wyre Forest in the 'Home Safe Home' Campaign. 27th October 2008 - 31st October 2008 Sarah Turner had a successful week with a variety of partners coming together to provide activities for the Young People in the area. 23rd October2008 Justin Daniels turned into a Banana for a day to promote healthy eating at a local school. 10th October 2008 Success - the Horsefair CCTV was launched. Partners, Board Members and Cabinet Members met to celebrate the installation of the camera. Reshreshments followed at Trinity Methodist Church. 9th October 2008 Justin Daniels met with the Church Council at Trinity Methodist Church and explained the role of the Partnership and some of the plans for the future. 19th September 2008 The Board had it's Away Day to plan for the future. It was a really positive day with exciting ideas on how all Partners can come together to make improvements in the area. Keep a look out for things happening. 13th September 2008 Justin Bryant our Community Safety Officer had a successful day bringing the community together for the Horsefair Tidy Day. Over 80 volunteers and over 52 bags of rubbish collected. For more details contact Justin Bryant 07710 710004 19/02/08 - The next edition of The Link newsletter will be distributed on 28th February 2008 07/01/08 - The Assembly has secured funding for the Multi-Cultural Event planned for 30th March 2008 at St George's Park. 26/11/07 - Wyre Forest District Council's Scrutiny Panel have completed their scrutiny on the capacity of Oldington & Foley Park Pathfinder to deliver the LPSA2 targets in the HBG area and made recommendations.
